Canadian resident Yohann Benson took advantage of the conditions after starting the final round 3 shots back of the leader. His final round of -5 under par 67, along with his first round score of 68 was good enough to win the 3rd Annual Daytona Beach Open by a single shot. Co-Runner-ups are Eric Cole of Orlando, and Jeff Sorenson of Blaine, MN. Both fired 67-69, to finish in second at 8 under par. Benson, along with Paul Park of Wayne, NJ shared the Low round of the day honors with their 67's. Park finished the event in 7-way tie for the 6th spot.
